His concert music career includes dozens of works for orchestra and chamber ensembles; his film scoring career stretches back 40 years; and his work in jazz includes eleven albums with the swing-fusion band Chaise Lounge<strong>.<\/strong>\u00a0Barnett&#8217;s plays include <em>Twelveness<\/em>, <em>Him and Jim<\/em>, and <em>The Spectre of Death,<\/em> all of which premiered in Pennsylvania. He wrote the score for <em>19: The Musical<\/em>, which premiered in Washington, D.C., in 2019. He wrote both music and lyrics for <em>When We Get There<\/em>, performed as part of the Musicals in Mufti series at the York Theatre in New York City in 2023. Barnett wrote the book, score, and lyrics for <em>True North,<\/em> which received a staged reading in Washington, D.C., in 2023. <a href=\"http:\/\/charliebarnett.com\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"charliebarnett.com\">charliebarnett.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Executive producer:<\/strong> Dan Markley (New York 2023)<br>Dan Markley has been a theater producer, manager, owner, and investor for 30+ years in New York City. He served as Executive Director of the New York Musical Festival from 2013-2018. He was a principle in the development of 37 Arts, which housed three theatres and the Baryshnikov Arts Center, and managed the center for several years. On and Off-Broadway Markley co-produced <em>Oleanna<\/em> (original), <em>Stomp<\/em> (Obie &amp; Drama Desk Awards), <em>Damn Yankees<\/em> (Tony and Drama Desk nominations), <em>On the Waterfront, The Vagina Monologues, Lifegame, Shockheaded Peter, Irving Berlin&#8217;s White Christmas, High Fidelity, Family Secrets<\/em> (revival), and <em>Something Rotten!<\/em> (Tony and Drama Desk nominations). He also co-produced the Paul Rudnick feature film <em>Jeffrey<\/em>, and a feature length documentary about D-Day entitled <em>Bedford: The Town They Left Behind,<\/em> which was scored by Charlie Barnett. As an investor and investment manager he has participated in over forty commercial productions in New York, London, and tours including the Tony Award-winning musicals <em>Rent, Avenue Q, and In the Heights, as well as Six, Wicked, Art, De La Guarda, Swan Lake, <\/em>and<em> The Beauty Queen of Leenane.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Director:<\/strong> Thomas Caruso (New York 2023)<br>Thomas Caruso is a New York Outer Critics Circle Award and Lucille Lortel Award nominee, who recently directed <em>Madwomen Of The West<\/em> by Sandra Tsing Loh (Off-Broadway), <em>A Christmas Carol <\/em>at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles starring Bradley Whitford, Kate Burton and Alex Newell, the Off-Broadway musical <em>Emojiland<\/em> (NY Times Critics Pick, 4 Drama Desk Award Nominations, and an Off-Broadway Alliance Award Nomination: Best Musical). He directed and co-conceived the musical <em>Southern Comfort<\/em> (The Public Theatre, NY Times Critics Pick, 3 Lucille Lortel Award and 2 OCC Award nominations including: Best New Musical). In London, he directed the West End and World Tour of <em>Dynamo: Seeing Is Believing<\/em> for the Illusionist Dynamo. He also directed the Asia Tour of <em>David Blaine: Real or Magic<\/em> for the world-renowned Illusionist David Blaine. Caruso&#8217;s Broadway Associate Director credits include: <em>Matilda, Groundhog Day, A Christmas Carol, Ghost, Mamma Mia!, Bombay Dreams, Follies<\/em> and <em>Master Class.<\/em> He directed the Broadway National Tours of <em>Matilda, Ghost, Master Class<\/em>, and <em>Emojiland<\/em> as well as many new works at Barrington Stage, Bay Street, NY Stage &amp; Film, Rattlestick, EST, Play Co, Williamstown Theatre Festival, TheatreWorks Palo Alto, Penguin Rep, Studio Arena Theatre &amp; Gloucester Stage. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ThomasCaruso.com\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"www.ThomasCaruso.com\">ThomasCaruso.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Music director:<\/strong> Matthew Smedal (New York 2023)<br>Matthew Smedal&#8217;s Broadway music direction credits include <em>Mrs. Doubtfire<\/em> (he was also the music director of Doubtfire\u2019s Original Cast Album).
